You are invited to participate online in this Sunday's worship service (May 16) at 11:00 a.m. for Ascension Sunday and the Seventh Sunday of Easter. The hymns include "Christ Is Alive" and "O God, Our Help in Ages Past." The Rev. Dr. Carol Gregg, pastor to the Congregation at Duke Chapel, will preach a sermon titled Eternal Life Has Begun.

The livestream of the service will begin at 10:45 a.m. with a recording of Chapel Carillonneur Tom Gurin playing one of his original compositions, "Things with Feathers." Gurin has served as one of our Chapel carillonneurs, playing each Sunday since last summer and every Monday since mid-January. Monday will be Gurin’s last day at the Chapel, as he has received a Fulbright Scholarship, in conjunction with a Woolley Award from the U.S. Foundation in Paris, to study composition in Paris for the 2021–2022 academic year. Chapel Carillonneurs Joseph Fala and W. Paul Bumbalough will continue to play the Chapel carillon.
