See your story differently.

the Studio is for students who want to further ponder the BIG questions and maybe even blow up their own answers, we've organized a series of six weekly meetings to put student stories in conversation with others: both peers and great thinkers alike. So students will answer a prompt then read & discuss a little Malcolm X. Then reanswer the same prompt, and listen to & discuss some Ocean Vuong. And answer the prompt again...you get picture, so at the end of the series their stories are well-polished multifaceted gems.

What do you get by joining the Studio? Ultimately, students will gain perspective, make friends, cultivate a stronger sense of their own voice and values (think about how that will help your next round of job or grad school interviews…), and earn the opportunity to be published in three ways, (ohhhhhhh, a publication on your resume if you want one!) in our anthology “our things”through our Short Editionand/or through a peer voiced video (like this one!).

If accepted into the Studio, students must commit to participating in all six workshops. Spring 2026 applications are due January 28th at noon. We will run two Studio sessions this semester.
One session will meet on Tuesdays at 6-7pm (2/3, 2/10, 2/17, 2/24, 3/3, 3/17.)
Another session will meet on Wednesdays from noon-1pm with lunch included (2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4, 3/18.)

Here’s a little taste of just some of the great minds you’ll encounter in the Studio:
