Sunday morning worship service at Duke Chapel
The idea of kingship can bring to mind great privilege, wealth, and even power. However, the scripture lessons for our celebration of Christ the King Sunday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m., evoke a very different image—a view of God as a fierce but tender shepherd, guarding, guiding, and caring for the flock of the people of God. The Rev. Racquel Gill, the Chapel's minister for intercultural engagement, will preach. The Chapel Choir and Chapel organists will lead the music along with the Amalgam Brass Ensemble and soloist Gwen Hyland.
