The Chapel in spring
In the interest of public health, Duke Chapel is closed to visitors and all in-person services, concerts, and other events remain canceled until further notice. We continue to pray regularly for Duke, Durham, the nation, and the world, and offer online resources for prayer and livestreams of services. Duke students and employees working on campus are invited to sign up to spend time in the Chapel. Lights remain on inside of the Chapel as a symbol of communal hope. There are a number of ways to connect online with us:
- Request prayer
- Take a virtual tour of the Chapel
- Participate in the livestream of 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship services or listen on WDNC Radio 620 AM
- Listen to live online concerts as part of the Chapel Music 2020–2021 season
- Connect with leaders from the two dozen Religious Life groups at Duke, which represent many different faith traditions
- Undergraduates can apply to become a Chapel Scholar
- Listen live online to the Chapel carillon being played each weekday at 5:00 p.m.
- Watch our Sounds of Faith video series, which explores the history and musicality of individual pieces of sacred music sung at the Chapel
- Join the Duke Chapel Choir by scheduling a virtual audition
- Join in our exploration of how people are finding sanctuary with the #FindSanctuary hashtag on social media
