William Byrd Commemorative Evensong, August 20

A special Choral Evensong service on Sunday, August 20, at 4:00 p.m. draws upon the music of the English composer William Byrd (pictured), marking the recent 400th anniversary of Byrd's death. The service will feature works in Latin including:

• Miserere mihi (Have mercy upon me)
• Christe qui lux es et dies (Christ who art both light and day)
• Nunc dimittis (Lord, now let thy servant depart in peace)
• In manus tuas (Into thy hands, O Lord)
