A Video Reflection on 'The Church's One Foundation'

In this video, Director of Chapel Music Dr. Zebulon Highben explores the hymn "The Church's One Foundation" in an arrangement by Dan Forrest, performed by the combined choirs of Duke Chapel. The Chapel commissioned the arrangement to celebrate the Chapel’s re-opening in the fall of 2016, after having been closed for a year for restoration work.

"While in the current climate we cannot gather together to worship and sing, we can still find consolation in recordings of the congregational hymns, choral anthems, and organ voluntaries that have filled our sacred space over the decades," Highben explains, "and perhaps, find ways to listen even more deeply to these sounds of our faith."
