Join us in worship this Sunday at 11:00 a.m., in-person or online. For the service:

In keeping with the university’s updated COVID protocols, anyone who is unvaccinated is required to wear a mask at all times when inside Duke buildings, including inside the Chapel. We recognize and respect that some people may choose to continue wearing a mask as a means to prevent exposure to themselves or loved ones. Additionally, social distancing is no longer required on campus, though distancing is still recommended for those who are not vaccinated. Finally, because COVID vaccines are a matter of public health, we encourage all eligible people to receive one.

In this service, Dr. Ellen Davis, Amos Ragan Kearns Distinguished Professor of Bible and Practical Theology at Duke Divinity School, will be our guest preacher. We will sing hymns including "For the Healing of the Nations" and "O Splendor of God’s Glory Bright," with musical leadership from Chapel Organist Christopher Jacobson and guest saxophonist Dr. Susan Fancher.

We continue in our focus this summer on the Minor Prophets. In this week’s lessons, Micah prophesies against the rulers of the house of Israel. He decries their inequity and injustice.
