The Rev. Dr. Jennifer Copeland
The guest preacher in our service this Sunday, March 10, at 11:00 a.m. will be the Rev. Dr. Jennifer Copeland, executive director of the North Carolina Council of Churches. An ordained minister in the United Methodist Church and a triple-graduate of Duke, she will preach a sermon titled Antidote to Death.
We will also welcome a guest choir, the Millbrook High School Madrigals. Students with the Madrigals regularly perform at adjudicated festivals and important statewide gatherings of music educators and choral conductors.
CROP Walk is our Mission of the Month. A representative from the group will deliver a message about their mission of transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement, and disaster.
