Worship at Duke Chapel
The upcoming Sunday morning worship service on January 29 at 11:00 a.m. centers on the Sermon on the Mount as described in the Gospel of Matthew. For the gospel lesson in the service, the choir will sing the Beatitudes, proclaiming that God’s blessings are bestowed upon those who mourn, who are meek, who are poor in spirit, and who are persecuted. Chapel Dean Luke A. Powery will preach; the Chapel Choir and organists will lead the music.
