Sunday Morning Worship Service Sept. 18

Copied URL to clipboard

The scripture texts for the Sunday service at 11:00 a.m. speak to the relationship between God and the use of resources. In a reading from the Book of Amos, the prophet calls to account any who trample the needy and bring ruin to the land. The passage from the Gospel of Luke has a lesson about using money in the service of God instead of wanting God to serve money.

The Rev. Racquel Gill, the Chapel's minister for intercultural engagement, will preach. The Chapel Choir and organists will lead the music. The service will also include a message from the Mission of the Month, the Duke student chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
