A Candle Being Lit at Duke Chapel
In this Sunday's worship service at 11:00 a.m., we will welcome as our guest preacher the Rev. Alma Tinoco Ruiz, the director of the Hispanic House of Studies at Duke Divinity School. Rev. Tinoco Ruiz will preach a sermon titled Mary, The Bearer of Salvation based on a reading from the first chapter of the Gospel of Luke. Our guest choir, The North Carolina Boys Choir and Girls Choir, will offer anthems before and during the service, including "In the Bleak Midwinter," "Ding Dong! Merrily on High," and "Angels’ Carol" by John Rutter.
