Worship servce at Duke Chapel
The scripture readings in our worship service this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. center on Jesus as the Good Shepherd. We will hear from, and take up an offering for, our Mission of the Month, Families Moving Forward, a local nonprofit that provides emergency shelter, rehousing support, and aftercare assistance for homeless families with dependent children in Durham. The Rev. Bruce Puckett, assistant dean of the Chapel, will preach a sermon titled The Disposition of Discipleship. The Chapel Choir and organists will lead the music.
