Jazz Vespers at Duke Chapel
In anticipation of Mardi Gras, John Brown, Duke's vice provost for the arts, and his Little Big Band will lead the music for our Jazz Vespers service on Thursday, February 8, at 7:00 p.m. This service will be a New Orleans-inspired celebration of life in the Spirit, featuring spirituals, gospel favorites, and contemporary arrangements. Our Jazz Vespers services combine the ancient Christian tradition of evening vespers with the musical idioms of jazz.
Free parking is available in the Bryan Center Parking Garage at 125 Science Drive with ADA parking available in the surface lot at the same address.
