Sunday morning worship at Duke Chapel
The scripture lessons in our worship service this Sunday, September 17, at 11:00 a.m. continue the theme of God’s overwhelming and merciful love for us; a love which in turn draws forth a joyful response of praise for God and love for one another. Chapel Dean Luke Powery will preach a sermon titled Why We Need God and the Chapel Choir and organists will lead the music. We will hear a message from our Mission of the Month, the Duke Student Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and take up an offering for the group.
