Guest Peacher Mark Jefferson This Sunday

In our worship service this Sunday, July 2, at 11:00 a.m., we look forward to hearing from our guest preacher, Dr. Mark Andrew Jefferson. A public theologian, Dr. Jefferson is the CEO of Maleko Global Partners, a consulting firm that equips and empowers leaders, especially clergy. Prior to founding Maleko Global, he taught homiletics at the Virginia Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He has preached at churches and other institutions across the country.

In addition to preaching in the 11:00 a.m. service, Dr. Jefferson will lead a class on "The Future of Preaching: Imagining Sermons in a Brave New World” before the service at 9:45 a.m. in 0013 Westbrook in the Divinity School. The class, hosted by the Congregation at Duke University Chapel, is free and open to the public.
