Watch an online presentation of G. F. Handel's masterwork Messiah as it weaves a musical and scriptural tapestry that tells the story of Christ's life, from birth through death and resurrection. Performed by the Duke Chapel Choir with orchestra and soloists, the concert continues a tradition in Duke Chapel that dates back to 1933.

Tickets are required to view the online concert, which is available for viewing until December 26. Click here to purchase tickets.

This year, the Chapel presents an abbreviated version of the oratorio that is approximately ninety minutes and includes the Christmas portion plus selected movements from Parts II and III. It is performed with period instruments and Baroque-era tuning, as Handel himself would have heard it.
