For the opening recital of this year's Organ Recital Series this Sunday, November 7, at 5:00 p.m., Dr. Andrew Scanlon will play music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Nicolaus Bruhns, Pierre Cochereau, and Joseph Jongen on the Flentrop and Aeolian organs. Admission is free.

Dr. Scanlon was recently appointed associate organist and choirmaster at the Church of the Advent in Boston, Massachusetts. From 2009 to 2021, he was the organ professor at East Carolina University as well as organist-choirmaster of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Greenville, North Carolina. "Solemn and Celebratory," his CD recording of the Fisk organ there, elicited from one reviewer the comment that "both performer and organ seem to excel in [the] French Romantic repertoire" (The Diapason).

Masks are required inside of the Chapel. For more information, please see the university’s Public Health Measures.

Paid parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the Bryan Center Parking Lot at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address.
