University Worship: Orientation Sunday
Location: Duke Chapel
The Rev. Dr. Luke A. Powery, Dean, Duke University Chapel

All are welcome to attend this ecumenical service of Christian worship on Sunday mornings throughout the year. Duke Chapel is home to a long -- and living -- tradition of faithful preaching and inspiring sacred music. Join us as we sing, pray, give thanks, and learn together. Chapel Dean Luke A. Powery will preach at this service and the Chapel Choir will lead the music.

Face masks are required inside the Chapel and all Duke buildings. Read more about the university's public health measures.

*** Students: Join us outside after the service for a free lunch. ***

Parking is available in the Bryan Center garage at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address. Receive a pass for free parking on Sunday mornings at the visitor desk inside the Chapel.

Children age four and younger are welcome in the nursery (capacity limited), located in the Chapel's lower level, beginning at 10:45 a.m. Nursery caregivers are required to be fully vaccinated and to wear masks at all times. Children from two to four years old are encouraged to wear masks. Anyone five years old or older is required to wear a mask.

See a listing of Christian education offerings before the service.
