Christmas Open House
The Duke Chapel Christmas Open House in 2019
We invite you to welcome the splendor of the season at our annual Duke Chapel by Candlelight Christmas Open House on Wednesday, December 15, from 12-noon to 2:00 p.m. See the Chapel fully decorated for the season and listen to familiar Christmas music. There is no cost to attend and no tickets or reservations are required. The event starts at noon and ends at 2:00 p.m.; drop in during your lunch break and stay for as little or as long as you'd like!
Face masks are required to be worn inside of the Chapel. Learn more about the university's public health measures.
The schedule is:
- 11:45 a.m.—Carillon and organ music
- 12:05 p.m.—Welcome from Chapel Dean Luke Powery
- 12:10 p.m.—Seasonal choral music
- 1:00 p.m.—Christmas carol sing-a-long
- 2:00 p.m.—Carillon music
Come for as much or as little of these informal programs as you would like.
Paid parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the Bryan Center Parking Garage at 125 Science Drive. Vehicles with an ADA permit may park on the Bryan Center Surface Lot.
