Join us online for a Sunday morning worship service on May 3 at 11:00 a.m. The service will include prayers, scripture reading, organ music, a sermon, and hymns.

This Fourth Sunday of Easter is often called Good Shepherd Sunday because the scripture lessons revolve around the theme of the Lord being a shepherd. In the lesson from John’s gospel, Jesus is compared to a shepherd who leads his sheep by calling them each by name. The psalm for the day, Psalm 23, is one of the most well-known and beloved psalms in the canon. It speaks to the Lord’s shepherd-like protection, provision, and presence in times of blessing and times of need. And, the reading from 1 Peter describes Jesus as the shepherd and guardian of those who were going astray like sheep.
