The Chapel will host an event titled “The Vital Role of Friendship in Interfaith Learning and Development During College” on Thursday, September 26th, from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. in the Divinity School’s Westbrook Building, Room 0013.

At the event, Dr. Alyssa Rockenbach will speak about trends and best practices for interreligious engagement in institutions of higher education. Dr. Rockenbach is a professor of Higher Education at North Carolina State University and co-principal investigator of a five-year national study—The Interfaith Diversity Experiences and Attitudes Longitudinal Survey (IDEALS)—which explores how educational experiences affect college students’ capacity to engage and cooperate with people of diverse worldviews.
