This year's series focuses on themes of salvation and redemption. It includes cantatas by Johann Sebastian and Johann Christoph Bach, George Frideric Handel, Michael Praetorius, and Mikolaj Zielenski. Soloists include Andrea Edith Moore, Molly Quinn, Tamsin Simmill, Daniel Shirley, Tony Boutteé, James Reese, and David Newman. Duke Bach Ensemble and Mallarmé Chamber Players are directed by Dr. Philip Cave.
Today's program includes BWV 161 Komm du süße Todesstunde and BWV 184 Erwünschtes Freudenlicht by J.S. Bach, and HWV 124 Look down, harmonious Saint by G.F. Handel.
