Upcoming Guest Preachers

Duke Chapel has four notable guest preachers coming to campus this month and next. Each will deliver a sermon during the Chapel’s weekly worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday’s in Page Auditorium. The preachers are:

-- Jan. 17: The Rev. Dr. Jonathan Walton, Plummer Professor of Christian Morals and Pusey Minister in the Memorial Church at Harvard University
-- Jan. 24: The Rev. Dr. Thomas G. Long, Bandy Professor of Preaching, emeritus, at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology
-- Jan. 31: The Rev. Dr. James Forbes, senior minister emeritus of The Riverside Church and president of the Healing of the Nations Foundation
-- Feb. 21: The Rev. Barbara Brown Taylor, author, professor and Episcopal priest

The services are webcast live and archived on the Duke Chapel website. They are also broadcast live on WDNC Radio 620 AM and channel 12 on the Duke Hospital cable system. Services are rebroadcast 11 a.m. Wednesday on The People's Channel Chapel Hill (Time Warner Cable Channel 8 / 97.5); 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on The People's Channel Durham (Time Warner Cable 18 / 97.3); and 10 a.m. Saturday on WPTF Radio 680 AM.
