Lift your voice in Duke Chapel.
All are welcome to participate in Duke Chapel's Summer Choir on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and/or Sunday, August 2, 2026. Rehearsals will be held in the chancel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on each Sunday, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. Music will be provided at the rehearsal. Unlike previous seasons, there is no need to RSVP. We look forward to making music with you!

What to Expect
Rehearsal
Please plan to arrive by 9:25 a.m. on the day of the service and make your way to the choir stalls in the chancel. There will be signs or placards for voice sections—S, A, T, and B, No divisi (I, II) seating is necessary. We begin rehearsing promptly at 9:30 a.m. and finish by 10:30 a.m.
Attire and Processions
We will not wear cassocks or surplices, nor will we process during the gathering and sending hymns. Accordingly, feel free to wear your comfortable “Sunday best.”
Music
Copies of all pieces will be provided at rehearsal, though you are most welcome to use links provided to peruse the music in advance. Markings in the linked scores above will be announced, reviewed, or included in printed copies.
