Communications Specialist
As the Chapel’s Communications Specialist, Karen Huang presents the Chapel's mission, ministry, and programs to its constituents through visual media. Her career spans over two decades in graphic design, marketing, publishing, and communications. She has collaborated with some of the most respected organizations in the world, and now brings her talent and experience to Duke Chapel. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Cooper Union and received a Fulbright Scholarship to the Netherlands. Currently pursuing an MBA, she is committed to using her skills for purpose-driven work that fosters positive change. Her experiences, combined with her passion for inspiring connection and creativity through visual storytelling, have been shaped by impactful marketing strategies and cultivated collaborations that deliver meaningful outcomes—a process she describes as “kerning closer to God.”
