An online seminar will present ways to address homelessness and affordable housing on Saturday, February 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 12-noon. The seminar, "The Value of Home: Stewardship for Affordable Housing," will explore the challenges and opportunities facing civic and faith communities as they seek to respond to the intersectional crisis of health, housing, and equity.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the situation for those dealing with homelessness or facing eviction in Durham and what solutions are being planned and implemented to meet the crisis. Time will also be spent exploring ways to initiate or deepen engagement by communities of faith.

The leader of the seminar will be Terry Allebaugh, an adjunct instructor at Duke who has over thirty years of experience as a local, state, and national leader on policy and practice around ending homelessness.
