Chapel PathWays Fellows 2017-18

The PathWays Fellowship is a one-year residential discernment program designed for recently graduated Duke alumni. This is the twelfth year the PathWays House has been home to students living in the West End neighborhood of Durham. Those living in the house have committed to the PathWays Household Covenant of daily prayer, weekly meals, fellowship, service, and friendship in Durham.

C. Eric Lincoln Fellows Announced

Duke sophomores Edom Tilahun and Justin Baez have been selected as the inaugural C. Eric Lincoln Fellows for Duke University Chapel’s new undergraduate theology and arts fellowship. Their work will be on display in Duke Chapel, with an opening reception at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27. Read more.

Announcing the Finding Sanctuary Spring Speaker Series

In collaboration with the Penny Pilgram George Women’s Leadership Initiative, Interfaith Engagement at Duke Chapel is inviting four dynamic women to campus this spring. These women will reflect publicly on the ways in which their lives and work meet at the intersections of faith-based advocacy and social justice. Dr. Diya Abdo, chair of the English and Creative Writing Department at Guilford College in Greensboro, will kick off the series at 6 p.m. Feb. 7. She will speak on her experience creating sanctuary for refugees with her “Every Campus a Refuge” campaign.
