Theology Underground Discussion Series Begins Tuesday

Theology Underground is a series of guided conversations about how culture, identity, and race impact the way we live out our faith and beliefs. Each month, the program engages with a different cultural community and learns about their unique and creative ways of imagining God and living out their faith. Campus partners across various identities will serve as conversation partners. Light refreshments provided.

Meetings are held Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Mary Lou Williams Center Underground Multipurpose Room on the following dates, with these topics:

September 13 and 27 — Latinx & Mujerista Theologies

October 4 and 18 — Queer Theologies

November 1 and 15 — Native and Indigenous Theologies

January 24 — The Theology of a KING

February 7 and 21 — Black Liberation Theology

March 7 and 21 — Womanist and Feminist Theologies

April 11 — Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Theologies
