Loading...
In our 11:00 a.m. worship service this Sunday, April 23, we welcome as our guest preacher the Rev. Dr. Sarah Jobe, a prison chaplain at North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women through Arise Collective. An ordained Baptist minister and graduate of Duke Divinity School, Rev. Dr. Jobe co-directs the Divinity School's Prison Studies Program and the Prison Engagement Initiative at the Kenan Institute for Ethics.
The scripture lessons from the Book of Acts and the Gospel of Luke have a theme of conversion. The Chapel choir and organists are joined by an ensemble of saxophonists.
