Setting a Psalm to Music

Learn how a musical setting of Psalm 102 from the seventeenth century inspired a modern setting of the same text in this Sounds of Faith video by Christopher Jacobson, FRCO, the Duke Chapel organist.

“This evocative text has inspired composers to write some of the most beautiful church music we have today,” Jacobson says.
