Robert Parkins's Farewell Recital is This Sunday [Recording Available]

Dr. Robert Parkins reflects on his forty-seven years of service at Duke and gives a brief survey of 300 years of organ music history, as heard through the pieces in his final recital.

Ellen Dickinson, university carillonist at Yale University and Trinity College (Hartford), gives the recital at 5:00 p.m.

After Dr. Parkins presented his farewell recital, Chapel Dean Luke Powery announced that the Brombaugh Organ in Memorial Chapel would be named in his honor.
