Homecoming and Founders' Weekend at Duke Chapel

The Chapel will celebrate Homecoming and Founders' Weekend with services and a carillon concert. The Sunday morning service at 11:00 a.m. celebrates Founders' Day with a prayer litany of thanksgiving and also marks World Communion Sunday with music and prayers in multiple languages. A service of Choral Evensong Sunday at 4:00 p.m. will be followed by a carillon recital at 5:00 p.m. Also, a special breakfast on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. features a presentation on the Chapel's "Counting It All Joy!" project to collect the stories of black alumni (RSVP required).

The Chapel is open to the public for daily visiting hours from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except this Saturday when it closes at 1:00 p.m. to allow for weddings.

Note: University officials are monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Ian; please check back here for any weather-related updates about services and events.
