Handel's 'Messiah:' Tickets Sold Out; Online Version Forthcoming

Update: Tickets are sold out for all three concerts. We will post an online version of this year's messiah by december 22.
From the haunting strains of “The people that walked in darkness” to the exuberant triumph of “Hallelujah” and “Worthy is the Lamb,” George Frideric Handel’s Messiah weaves a musical tapestry that recounts the story of Christ’s life, from birth through death and resurrection. The performances are on:
- Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
- Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
This year, we welcome guest conductor David Rayl and four distinguished soloists:
- Chea Kang, soprano, is recognized for her distinctive voice and innovative artistry, consistently bringing creativity and originality to her performances.
- Key’mon Murrah, countertenor, is heralded for the “resplendent, voluptuous tone throughout his enormous range and phrasing with the feel of fine silk.”
- Kay’mon Winkfield Murrah, tenor, bridges the worlds of performance, education, and community engagement with a voice praised for its warmth, agility, and expressive power.
- Edmund Milly, bass-baritone, is sought after for his “annunciatory power,” “perfect diction,” and distinctive “delicacy and personal warmth.”
