Epiphany Sunday Morning Service
Loading...
In our worship service this Sunday, January 7, at 11:00 p.m., we will celebrate Epiphany—the visitation of three men from the east, sometimes called kings, wise men, or magi, to the baby Jesus. The word "epiphany" has its origins in Greek and means the appearance or manifestation of the divine in human form. The visit to the holy family by the magi represents an epiphany for them, as they encountered God made flesh in the infant Jesus. The service will include a traditional Epiphany blessing and chalking of the entrance with symbols representing the magi.
