Duke Chapel Dean Luke Powery to Preach at Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta
The Rev. Dr. Luke A. Powery, dean of Duke University Chapel, will be the guest preacher at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta on Sunday, August 2, during the 10:00 a.m. service.
The historic church is renowned as the home church of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It continues today as an urban-based, global ministry dedicated to individual growth and social transformation through living in the message and carrying out the mission of Jesus Christ.
