All are welcome to attend this ecumenical service of Christian worship on Sunday mornings throughout the year. Duke Chapel is home to a long--and living--tradition of faithful preaching and inspiring sacred music. Join us as we sing, pray, give thanks, and learn together. Today's Guest Preacher will be the Reverend Dr. M. Keith Daniel. Rev. Dr. Daniel served in Executive Director roles for StepUp NC and DurhamCares, Inc. He is the Board Chair for The School for Conversion and serves on the boards of Justice Matters, Duke Health Chaplain Services and Education, and Duke University Chapel. Dr. Daniel has over 3 decades of management and servant-leadership in the public sector, higher education administration including graduate (MBA and Divinity) and undergraduate student affairs, human resources, and religious life. He served as the Director of the PathWays Program and Director of Community and Campus Engagement at Duke Chapel. Rev. Dr. Daniel is an ordained clergy member in the American Baptist Church tradition. He is an Instructor/Special Projects at Duke Divinity School leading spiritual formation and assistant teaching in the Black Church Studies curriculum on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Howard Thurman. He earned a B.A. in Comparative Area Studies, Duke University; the Master of Higher Education, North Carolina State University; Master of Divinity and Doctor of Divinity, Duke University. He and wife Lorna are natives of Washington, DC and are the proud parents of Madison Daniel II, Duke Divinity (M.Div.)/Sanford School (MPP), 2024 and Loren Daniel, Meredith College (IOS) 2024. Parking is available in the Bryan Center garage at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address.
