Twelfth Night Service

Thursday, January 5, 2023
A worship service to mark the twelfth, and final, day of Christmastide.
7:00 pm
Twelfth Night Service
Location: Duke Chapel

This service of Twelfth Night celebrates the end of the twelve days of Christmas and the eve of Epiphany, a festival that commemorates the manifestations of Jesus, especially the visit of the magi. The Chapel's Twelfth Night service will include readings, hymns, anthems by the Duke Chapel Schola Cantorum, and organ and harp music. The service will also include a blessing of the worship space, adapted from an eastern European tradition, that worshipers will be encouraged to take and use to bless their own homes.

Parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis in the Bryan Center garage at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address. For more parking options, visit chapel.duke.edu/visit-events/visit#parking.

The service is live-streamed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/dukechapel and broadcast live on channel 12 of the Duke Hospital TV system and channel 110 of the Duke Campus Vision TV system.
