Christopher Jacobson, the Chapel Organist, presents an informative, interactive, and up-close discussion and demonstration of Duke Chapel's organs. Free and open to the public. Jacobson includes engaging facts and histories about our organs while also demonstrating the wide-ranging musical capabilities of these grand instruments. Visitors will learn about the construction of the Chapel's organs, their unique ranks and stops, and hear music ranging from Baroque masters such as Johann Sebastian Bach to composers emerging from the post-Romantic period and beyond.
