Nave Closed for Recording: 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. --Basement Offices Remain Open
Location:

The Chapel nave will be closed at various times on April 19, 20, and 21 for a commercial recording project featuring the historic Kathleen Upton Byrns McClendon Organ (Aeolian 1932). Performed by Chapel Organist Christopher Jacobson, the CD will be released next year during the nave's closure and will be the first commercial recording of the Aeolian since its restoration in 2008.

Because silence must be maintained in the nave during the recording, unfortunately the Chapel's main level/sanctuary cannot receive visitors during these times: April 19 from 6:00-8:00 PM; April 20 from 8:00-11:00 AM and 5:30-10:00 PM; and April 21 from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and 7:00-10:00 PM. The Chapel's basement offices and meeting areas, including the Duke Catholic Center and other Religious Life offices, will remain open.
