Lift Ev'ry Voice (Westbrook Building)

Lift Ev'ry Voice is for children ages 4 - 5th grade. Summer class members will learn about the history of worship through hymns by concentrating on hymn selections chosen for the summer services. Lessons will include: singing, memorizing and learning twelve hymns, discussing the significance of music during portions of the worship service, learning the Christian stories of the hymn writers, playing bells and barred accompaniments to the hymns, and creating a craft complementing the biblical reference in each hymn.
