Henry's musical roots are in gospel, jazz and soul, and his instrument of choice is the Hammond B-3 organ. His latest release and touring project, The Revival, features Henry's dynamic and improvisational performances of music ranging from old gospel to Stevie Wonder. Henry is currently on tour with his band The Funk Apostles and has been featured on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," National Public Radio, and The Boston Globe, among other media outlets.

The service will be led by Chapel Dean Luke A. Powery and includes Scripture, a literary reading, and three prayer stations. The Chapel's C. Eric Lincoln Minister, Joshua Lazard, is the service's liturgist.

Public parking is available for free on a first-come basis in the Bryan Center Parking Garage. Vehicles with ADA passes may park in handicap spaces in the Bryan Center Surface Lot.

This service is free and open to the public.

This special Jazz Vespers is part of Duke Chapel's year of celebration honoring of the reopening of the Chapel after a year of restoration work. It is co-sponsored by the Duke Jazz Program.
