In the wake of the national outcry over the death of Michael Brown, Jr., Missouri Governor Jay Nixon appointed the Rev. Starsky Wilson co-chair of the Ferguson Commission to study the underlying conditions, and to make public policy recommendations, to help the region progress through issues exposed by Brown's death. Wilson is president and CEO of Deaconess Foundation and pastor of Saint John's Church (The Beloved Community) in St. Louis. He will speak about "Pastoral Leadership for American Apartheid" in a conversation moderated by Duke Chapel Dean Luke Powery.
