In the wake of recent gun violence across the nation and in Durham, this Bridge Panel public conversation seeks to bring urgency to ending the pain and suffering it causes. Chapel Dean Luke A. Powery moderates this discussion with faith, academic, and civic leaders. The panelists include:

  • Rob Belcher, founder of Chance2Change
  • Chief Cerelyn Davis, chief of the Durham Police Department
  • Dr. Kristin Goss, Kevin D. Gorter Professor of Public Policy and Political Science at Duke
  • The Rev. Ben Haas, executive director of the Religious Coalition for a Nonviolent Durham

A reception with light refreshments will follow.

Admission is free. Free parking for the event is available on a first-come-first-served in the Bryan Center Parking Garage at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address.
