This year's series focuses on themes of salvation and redemption. It includes cantatas by Johann Sebastian and Johann Christoph Bach, George Frideric Handel, Michael Praetorius, and Mikolaj Zielenski. Soloists include Andrea Edith Moore, Molly Quinn, Tamsin Simmill, Daniel Shirley, Tony Boutteé, James Reese, and David Newman. Duke Bach Ensemble and Mallarmé Chamber Players are directed by Dr. Philip Cave. This evening's program includes BWV 9 Es ist das Heil uns kommen her, BWV 55 Ich armer Mensch, ich Sünderknecht, and BWV 151 Süßer Trost, mein Jesus kömmt.
Admission is free. Event parking is available for $5 in the Bryan Center Parking Garage at 125 Science Drive; ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address.
