Dasan Ahanu
An award-winning poet, performance artist, community organizer, and scholar, Dasan Ahanu is a co-founder and managing director of Black Poetry Theatre, a Durham-based theatre company that creates and produces original poetry and spoken word-based productions. At this event, he leads a workshop on writing poetry and discusses his latest book of poems, A Month of Sundays, a tribute to the Black church and Black faith.
