Rev. Dr. Dixon has worked for the Duke University Health System since 2003. He was raised in the Raleigh area and has earned degrees from Campbell University, Duke University, and Virginia Theological Seminary. He is active in the Wake County community and speaks in various settings about the role of chaplaincy and ethics. He helped develop Duke Raleigh's chaplain services program and acted as a clinical chaplain before taking on his current role. In addition to his full-time role in the Health System, he also serves a pastor of a church in Knightdale, North Carolina. He is married and has three children.
