Divinity School Baccalaureate Service

Duke Divinity School will celebrate its 88th Baccalaureate Service in Duke Chapel with Richard Lischer, James T. and Alice Mead Cleland Professor of Preaching at the Divinity School, preaching.This 90-minute service of worship includes the traditional ritual of hooding for degree recipients. The event is free and open to the public. It will be webcast live on Duke's Ustream. Lischer's sermon titled "Having This Ministry" will be based on a New Testament reading from 2 Corinthians 4:1-12. It will explore the theme of death and new birth in ministry.
