On Sunday, February 3, in the Chapel's 11:00 a.m. worship service, visual artist LA Chesson will create a painting during the service in response to the music, prayers, and preaching. Watch this short video to see what Chesson painted the last time he participated in a Chapel worship service.
Chesson is a national artist from Ahoskie, North Carolina. His visual signature is a crown symbol, which signifies his unwavering commitment to give glory to God. In addition to having confidence in his own creative potential, he draws inspiration from the American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. He can be found on social media @sonofsimba.
