AAAS Town Hall: Academics Teaching #Ferguson

Chapel Dean Luke Powery joins a town hall forum on the recent shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., hosted by Duke's African and African American studies department. In addition to Powery, panelists include Angel Harris, professor of sociology and African American studies; Karla Holloway, English and law professor; Wahneema Lubiano, a professor of literature; and Mark Anthony Neal, a professor of black popular culture. William "Sandy" Darity, director of the Duke Consortium on Social Equity, will moderate. Event is free and open to the public.
