PathWays Summer Interns and Fellows
The PathWays Summer Internship Program is designed for undergraduate students who are committed to the work of discernment, and are interested in exploring careers in faith-based non-profit organizations, churches or parishes. The program is open to all Duke University undergraduates, but special consideration is given to PathWays Chapel Scholars. Learn more about applying for the program.
Chapel Attendants
Duke Chapel offers undergraduate students regular part-time employment as Chapel attendants. Attendants work at the Chapel’s front desk during evenings and weekends, and are responsible for greeting visitors and answering questions about the Chapel. If you are interested in working Monday-Saturday, please contact the Event and Wedding Coordinator. If you are interested in working on Sundays, please contact the Director of Worship.

Worship Assistants
Volunteers are an essential part of worship at Duke Chapel, and a reminder of the vibrancy of the Duke Chapel community. If you would like to serve as an usher, lector or communion server, please contact the Director of Worship.
Worship Intern

Chapel Photographers
Duke Chapel offers two qualified work-study students part-time employment—up to ten hours per week—as Chapel photographers. Chapel photographers are responsible for taking authorized pictures of Chapel events, for use in the Chapel’s print and website mediums. Chapel Communications Aide
Duke Chapel offers qualified work-study students just under twenty hours per week employment as a Chapel Communications Aide. For more information, please contact the Special Assistant for Communications.
Media Ministry Aide
Duke Chapel offers qualified work-study students ten hours per week employment as a Media Ministry Aide to help with media archiving and closed captioning. For more information, please contact the Special Assistant for Communications.
